On King Fahd: The Last Saudi King

The general issue described here has been answered in the following previous blog posts:

We have witnessed a king after King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, and this appears to contradict Rashad’s statement.

First thing to note is Rashad never claimed this was divine inspiration. In fact, the wording he used seems to suggest it was not divine inspiration.

“I herein predict that this will happen”-doesn’t sound like a revelation from God. If one gets a revelation from God, would one say they predicted it and take credit for it? If God told me X will happen, I would I say “X is gonna happen”–not “I herein predict that X will happen” as if I reached that conclusion through my reasoning rather than simply informed of it by God.

Regarding his Quran interpretation, even in the King Fahd aspect, he has indeed gotten the interpretation of the Quran correct-but he did not accurately assess the external contexts surrounding what or why those involved said what they said-and God knows the details of their personal lives, internal thoughts and the reasoning behind their decisions better so he did not apply the punishment of this verse to them. So what Rashad lacked in making this statement is not Quranic knowledge, but external contextual knowledge-and this is only known best by God.

Furthermore, a user from the discord server has made this claim about King Fahd, that he was indeed the last Saudi King:

“I just had an inspiration. King Faud, in effect, was the last King in Saudi Arabia; 1990 is when US troops stationed in SA for the invasion of Iraq. This signifies the end of Saudi sovereignty. They are merely a puppet to the West. This principle may apply to other “Muslim” countries. Peace”

Indeed, they can call themselves “King”, just as North Korea can call itself “The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea”–the name you give yourself doesn’t make it a democracy and doesn’t make you a king. King Fahd was the last Saudi king since he was the last king before Saudi Arabia gained autonomous residents (US Troops) who it doesn’t govern. In other words, the Saudi Arabian “king” does not have sovereignty over all people who reside in Saudi Arabia–including the US Troops and the US citizens, who the United States instead has the rule over them. Indeed, a Saudi monarchy no longer has the capability to govern absolutely over all who reside within the “kingdom”: the US Troops. And instead has to seek permission from the US.
